Out of Hours Medical Care

What do you do if you’re not feeling well and your doctor is closed?

If it’s not an emergency, you can call the free after hours GP helpline on 1800 022 222 for reassurance and medical advice. Your call will be answered by a registered nurse who will assess your condition and provide health information and assistance. If necessary, you will be connected to a GP who will provide practical advice.

The after hours GP helpline operates every day of the year, even public holidays, from 6pm until 8am (on weekends, from 12 noon Saturday through to 8am on Monday).

In an emergency, please call 000 for ambulance / paramedic care.
